I am thrilled to serve as the headteacher of this academically successful school, where we strive to create a nurturing and inclusive environment for all our students. Whether you're a current member of our school community or considering joining us, I extend a warm invitation for you to explore our website and discover more about the wonderful experiences we offer.

The Ursuline Academy Ilford is a Catholic comprehensive school for girls aged 11-19, welcoming students from various backgrounds and beliefs. Founded by the Ursuline Order in 1903, our school has a long-standing commitment to providing excellent education and pastoral support. Guided by Gospel values, we foster a strong sense of community where everyone is encouraged to excel and support one another. Our ethos celebrates inclusivity and unity, something we take great pride in.

Visitors often commend the purposeful working environment here, where students are encouraged to strive for their personal best. Our pupils are known for their warmth, engagement, and ability to express themselves confidently. They possess a strong sense of ambition both for themselves and for the wider school community.

In the spirit of inclusivity, each year we reserve places for students from practicing Catholic families as well as those from other faith backgrounds who embrace and uphold our Catholic ethos. Our mixed-ability form classes reflect the diversity of our student body, with students from various backgrounds learning together harmoniously. For more information please visit the Admissions page of our website.

Our sixth form offers excellent educational opportunities and pathways for all students, ensuring they thrive academically and socially. We encourage prospective students and their families to arrange visits to our school please contact enquiries here

We look forward to welcoming you to our vibrant school community.
